Time for a Change

I am sixty years old, and it is safe to say that over the years my father and I have had many discussions about a variety of topics: personal, family, professional. So many of those have been helpful and rewarding, but my favorite talks are when we get to Herb telling me stories about his time here in Plattsburgh. Over the past number of years, we’ve had breakfast more often. Many of our discussions have taken place over coffee and a waffle at Perkins, and those discussions have taken on a life of their own.


When the team at Strictly Business began discussing ideas for some subtle changes to the magazine to keep it fresh and interesting for all of you, we thought it might be fun to let you in on some of Herb’s memories of how the Plattsburgh region has survived and thrived over the years. We had to work hard to convince him how great this idea would be.
